Need a simple core holding method for your unwind or rewind application? Core cones may be the answer. Core cones support each end of a 3" or 6" core. They have a tapered, serrated shape which locks into a cardboard or plastic core; perfect for unwinding or rewinding rolls of paper, film, foil, textile or nonwoven materials. Core cones may be your answer to running those difficult rolls that have crushed cores! Since core cones only support the cores ends, crushed cores are no problem. Teamed with CAC's lightweight thru shaft, the assembly can be designed to fit exactly where your existing air shafts fit your machine. Temporarily replacing your existing air shaft with CAC's COR-LOK core cone / thru shaft assembly will allow you to run those expensive rolls or material which you cannot push an air shaft thru (crushed cores).
