Save Your Compressed Air and Save $$$$
Compressed air is expensive. Energy consumption combined with maintenance required to combat the toll taken on over used air compressors will erode the bottom line at the end of the day. Painstakingly, finding air leaks throughout the plant will pay off in the end.
One area you may find to save compressed air is your pneumatic trim conveying system. Do you use compressed air to convey waste away from your converting machine? If so, long term costs can be avoided by utilizing a blower and venturi combination system. Sure, the blowers in these systems use energy. However, they use A LOT less energy and are designed to run continuously. Ultimately, saving you energy and maintenance costs associated with over-taxing your air compressors.
